Residents of Bedale and the surrounding villages are being encouraged to share their ideas about the future of the Market Place in Bedale.
It will be the main topic of conversation at the Bedale & Villages Community Forum’s Annual General Meeting next week.
“The Bedale and Villages Forum’s Community Plan has highlighted the importance of a vibrant and sustainable Market Place in Bedale,” said Yvonne Rose OBE, Chair of the Forum.
“Our AGM will provide an excellent opportunity for local residents to suggest what can be done to improve the High Street. We ask people to come along to the meeting and be prepared to have their say.”
The meeting is being held at 7.30pm on Thursday 15 September in the Conference Room at Bedale Hall.
Over the last 12 months the group helped fund a number of community projects – including Bedale Community Meals on Wheels, the Leeming Bar Community Hub and the Bedale Foodshare scheme.
