A LEADING North East hotel is hoping to score a full house later this month, for a special Oktoberfest event.
On 28 September, Hardwick Hall Hotel, at Sedgefield, County Durham, is hosting Bierkeller Bingo in the Grand Marquee, with a whole host of prizes on offer.
And along with their dabbers, guests are invited to bring their best dancing shoes, with live entertainment from the Amazing Bavarian Stompers.
The comic act has gained a reputation as the best oompah band in Britain, performing at various events around the country, featuring on TV and radio and even appearing at a major German bier festival.
John Adamson, who owns Hardwick Hall Hotel, is confident the event will be a big hit.
“Bingo seemed like the obvious choice to put a twist on a classic Oktoberfest event and we have some excellent prizes up for grabs on the night,” said John.
“The Amazing Bavarian Stompers are among the very best at what they do and we are delighted to welcome them to perform at the event.
“I have no doubt that they will put on a fantastic show that will get everyone in the party mood.”
Tickets for the event, which takes place from 6pm until midnight, cost £13.50 and includes a bratwurst and a pint.
