CaptureDARLINGTON shoppers can enjoy big bargains, thanks to the latest issue of the popular Little Book of Offers.

The books are the brainchild of business improvement district company Distinct Darlington and contain discounts and promotional offers to be used against services and purchases from independent stores and high street giants.

The latest issue is now available, free of charge, from outlets across the town centre and online via the Distinct Darlington website. The voucher booklet contains 28 great deals from businesses such as New Look, in the Cornmill, who are offering £5 off when you spend £35 or £10 off when you spend £50 in-store. Other offers include £10 off when you spend £25 at The Body Shop, also in the Cornmill and 50% off spectacles at Specsavers, on High Row.

There are also bargains to be had at the newly-opened Manhattans Bar on Bondgate, where you can get 50% off your first drink, Asquith’s on Post House Wynd are offering a free watch battery change and customers can also enjoy 10% off prom wear at Poppy Bridal on Duke Street.

The books are produced quarterly and each issue is valid for two months (unless otherwise specified). This issue looks set to be the most successful yet as it runs across three nationally-celebrated occasions – Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter Weekend.

“The Little Book of Offers is going from strength to strength,” said Alex Hirst, manager of Distinct Darlington. “Each edition brings bigger and better bargains for shoppers and increased trade for businesses, so everyone is a winner.”

The current edition of the Little Book of Offers is available until 31 March. Hard copies of the Little Books are available from the Box Office in Darlington’s Cornmill Centre and Dolphin Centre reception, or from various town centre traders.
