With the new Table Tennis season underway, Bishop Auckland Table Tennis Club is preparing for its 2-star tournament, an event that sees some of the country’s best young players descend on Bishop Auckland to compete for the titles. This year’s tournament will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, and will see Junior, Cadet, Under 13s, and Under 11s age categories. Play starts at 10am and lasts all day until 4pm, at Bishop Barrington School.
In recent years, the tournament has seen players competing from as far away as Southampton, Nottingham, Hull, Leeds, and Sheffield, as well as local areas like Middlesbrough, Darlington, and of course Bishop Auckland. With free entry, and catering on-site, this national tournament is the ideal opportunity to watch the players in action and see what the club has to offer! Come along to enjoy the great food and drink, and soak up the fantastic atmosphere.
