BRICK History is a journey through some of the most important moments in world history, all modelled in LEGO® bricks by Warren Elsmore and his team of artists.
It will be on display in Preston Park Museum’s beautiful Music Room from Thursday 7 December to Sunday 4 February, open 10am – 4pm (last admission 3.30pm).
This family friendly exhibition features famous moments such as the end of the dinosaurs and the Great Fire of London, alongside models of icons from Mozart to Martin Luther King.
See a range of events, from the making of the famous Terracotta Army in China to the inauguration of Barack Obama as the President of the United States of America.
With more than 30 large and beautifully made models, Brick History brings history to life in a way that people will not have seen before.
Warren Elsmore is a lifelong fan of LEGO and now spends his days creating stunning models using the iconic little bricks, including the largest ever LEGO ship for shipping and logistics company, DFDS.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Norma Wilburn, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this stunning exhibition, made up of these world-famous bricks.
“LEGO is one of the most famous toys in the world and Warren Elsmore’s exhibitions have toured all across the country, attracting big crowds wherever they have gone. His intricate designs are wonderfully imaginative and will no doubt inspire children to build their own Lego creations this Christmas.”
