CANDIDATES in this year’s Parish Council, Borough Council, Mayoral and Parliamentary elections are being invited to special briefing sessions next week.
The sessions are open to all those planning to stand in the elections on Thursday, May 7 and will cover key areas including important dates, qualifications and disqualifications, nominations, agents, spending and contact details.
Pre-nomination candidate briefings with members of Middlesbrough Council’s Electoral Services team will take place at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Tuesday, March 17 as follows:
- Parish/Borough Council candidates 10am
- Parliamentary candidates 2pm
- Mayoral candidates 4pm
