British Basketball League: Trio of signings announced

Leicester Riders continue to build for the upcoming 2019/20 season as Josh Ward-Hibbert returns for the club for a fourth season.

Ward-Hibbert, recent Loughborough College graduate, will return to the Riders after graduation next season on a new deal for his fourth year with the club.

The Nottingham native transferred to the Riders from Derby Trailblazers and has helped the club to multiple trophies alongside grabbing three BUCS Championships with the Loughborough men’s team!

The B Braun Sheffield Sharks confirmed the return for a third season of 6’6 forward Robert Marsden

A firm favourite of the club and fans, Marsden will return for unfinished business for the 2019/20 season. A native of Doncaster and therefore local to Sheffield, the forward has enjoyed increasing success with the Sharks who saw him average 14 points a game last season.

Marsden will not be joined this season by fellow Doncaster favourite Mathew Martin. Who has taken the decision to retire from the game.

Finally, Cheshire Phoenix have announced the signing of French Small Forward Karim Mouliom for the upcoming season.

The 6’6 Forward comes to the Nix following the conclusion of his NCAA career where he played at Southwest Baptist University in Division 2. During his senior year Mouliom averaged an impressive 14.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game whilst shooting over 50% from 2 point range and over 32% from behind the arc.
