A North East based construction business is celebrating its first full year of operation by announcing a string of new projects that will ensure it smashes initial turnover targets.

All Saints Construction – a division of the Newcastle based High Street Group – launched in September 2015 with the aim of delivering around £100 million worth of projects nationwide, within two years.

Already it is working on developments valued at over £75 million and is lining up new schemes in The North East, North West, South Yorkshire, Scotland and the South East worth a further £120 million.

Said Director, Keith McDougall:  “It has been an excellent start and the forecasts for 2017 are even better than we anticipated.  We are particularly excited about prospects for development in the private rented sector.”

The North East projects driving this rapid growth include a new 90 bedroomed hotel in Durham City, the redevelopment of a 32 bedroomed Whitley Bay hotel, 25 executive homes in Hartlepool and the redevelopment of the walled gardens, adjacent to Newcastle Racecourse, into 14 executive homes.

In Scotland there are plans to create 18 apartments in a converted and extended school, with nine large detached homes in grounds in the Glasgow area and 12 more apartments in a converted and extended listed mansion house up the coast at Helensburgh.

Details of the North West, South Yorkshire and South East projects have yet to be released but involve developing apartments for private rent.

All Saints Construction is a division of the High Street Group – a multi disciplinary operation established almost 10 years ago and involved in property investment, development finance and financial claims.

McDougall added:  “We have a strong team with wide experience and ambition to grow in an expanding sector.  Because of our parent company’s experience and expertise, we can offer clients a start to finish service – providing scheme feasibility advice, design, planning guidance, finance, construction and sales or maintenance.

“In addition our costs are significantly less than offered through the more traditional construction procurement processes which puts us in an extremely strong position to establish successful joint venture initiatives right across the sector.”

With its headquarters in St. Cuthbert House, Newcastle, The High Street Group was established by successful entrepreneur Gary Forrest in 2004.  It has grown to become a leading financial and property group employing over 50 people in activities including property development, developer finance and financial claims.
