BURNT TREE ON THE ROAD AGAIN TO BACK RUNMIDDLESBROUGH

A KEY supporter of Middlesbrough’s flagship running events is back on the road again in 2015.

Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental has been involved with RunMiddlesbrough since the launch of the Tees Pride 10k Road Race in 2005.

And this year the company is providing back-up for Zoe’s Place in the Cleveland Centre 5k Riverside Run which takes place on Sunday, May 31.

Entries for this year’s event close at midnight on Wednesday, May 20, and runners are reminded that no entries will be taken on the day.

The run – alongside the South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group 2k Fun Run – starts and finishes at the Riverside Stadium and has proved hugely popular with runners and walkers raising funds for a range of local charities and good causes.

Race Director, Scott Hydon said: “Our RunMiddlesbrough events continue to go from strength to strength, and that’s in no small part due to the support of sponsors like Burnt Tree.

“They’ve been involved with the Tees Pride 10k and Riverside Run for over 10 years and they make a real difference to charities like Zoe’s Place who they have supported for the last five years.

“I know we’re going to see another fantastic turn-out on May 31, so this is a final reminder that time is fast running out for anyone who still wants to take part – the deadline is midnight on Wednesday, and I’m afraid we won’t be able to accept entries on the day.”

Application forms are available at venues across the town and entries can be submitted online via www.runmiddlesbrough.com
