‘We Train Any Dog’ has been awarded £1000 to help set up the group’s new premises with signage and create a new website.

The dog training school and dog day care centre was set up in 2003 by instructor Heather Stevens. She specialises in dog aggression, behaviour problems, rescue dog rehabilitation and the use of training to resolve issues pets have – both mild and severe. It covers Bedale, Boroughbridge, Catterick, Leyburn, Northallerton, Richmond and the surrounding areas.

The grant has come from the District Council’s Small Business Grant Scheme which can offer support of up to £1000 for small companies in the district. The 2015/16 grant scheme has awarded a total of £28,211.84 to 36 businesses.

“This grant will help me expand my business, create a bespoke service for dog owners, and create more jobs for those wanting to work with dogs,” said Heather.
