On 19 May, Prince Harry will marry former actress Meghan Markle, which will be watched across the globe.

The fun evening, being held on 18 May at the Roker Hotel, will give attendees the opportunity to share their wine knowledge in the hope of being crowned the winner.

A drinks reception, three course dinner and entertainment will also be included in the evening, with prizes for the highest scorers and the opportunity to sample some Poetic License gin.
The NSPCC’s Sunderland Business Board raises funds to support projects in the area, including the charity’s schools service.
This includes the Speak Out Stay Safe programme which teaches children how to keep themselves safe from abuse and neglect and has already spoken to thousands of young people across the city.
Chair of the NSPCC Sunderland Business Board, Umesh Patel said: “The whole country will be in party mood and what better way to celebrate the Royal wedding the following day than with a glass or two of wine?
“At the same time those attending will be contributing to a great cause and the money raised will have a huge impact on the lives of vulnerable children living in Sunderland.
“We’re looking forward to what is sure to be a really enjoyable evening which will hopefully raise a lot of money for a really worthwhile charity.”
