Children North East have projects working with children, young people and families across the north east helping to provide a better life for those in need.

Volunteers from across the Children North East projects, supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, took part in the celebration on Wednesday 22nd April.  The whirlwind evening event included human bingo, awards and a prop photo booth.

Staff and Trustees were there to thank the volunteers and awards were handed out for the time they had donated to the organisation with over 8,500 hours clocked up.

Jeremy Cripps, Children North East Chief Executive, said: “The volunteers work tirelessly to provide services to people most in need and for that we thank them immensely.  Without their hard work, alongside our staff and the fantastic support of the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, our organisation wouldn’t be able to make the huge impact that we do.”

The event closed on a high with staff and volunteers thanking the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery for their continued support and funding for the organisation.
