A LEADING North East hotel is set for a cracker of a Christmas after lining up a packed programme of festivities.

Ramside Hall Hotel in County Durham has a busy month of party nights and daytime celebrations planned throughout December, from dining experiences with family and friends to festive frolics with work colleagues.

Live entertainment and fantastic food is on the menu with a choice from dozens of different party nights to suit all tastes and budgets.

All of the evening events begin at 6.30pm and include a four course dinner, entertainment and a bar open until midnight.

Kicking off the Christmas fun is the Paul Mazzari Band on Friday December 2. A former member of boyband A1, Paul now fronts his own band performing soul and funk classics like Play that Funky Music, Valerie and Uptown Funk.

Transporting revellers back two decades is the Ultimate 90s night starring X-Factor’s Bethany Reddy, who will be belting out classics from the club-dance scene in two separate party nights.

For the perfect girls night out there will be two Dirty Dancing Tribute Show nights featuring songs from the iconic film with slick choreography, staging and lights.

Celebrating the magic of Motown, vocalist Jeff Dingle will also be appearing twice in December, performing classics by stars like the Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Marvin Gaye and more.

Other Christmas party nights include an evening with Re-Take That, Christmas Boogie Wonderland, the All New Jersey Boys, Abba tribute act Voulez 2 and disco nights.

There will also be several afternoon parties as well as three family events aimed at children including Ramside’s traditional Santa Sunday on December 11.

Tim Boyd, General Manager at the Ramside Hall Hotel, is looking forward to welcoming party-goers this festive season. “This is probably Ramside’s biggest and best year yet for Christmas parties, and we are already on course for a record-breaking year,” he said.

“We have an unrivalled selection of different party events this year with fantastic live entertainment, amazing food and everything you need for a night you and your guests will remember for all the right reasons.”

The Christmas party nights begin on Friday December 2 and run up until Friday December 23 with prices starting at £23.95 per person.
