Tees Valley’s Communicate Technology PLC has appointed a new client manager to support with existing and future growth plans.
The new appointment comes after the recent investment of £500,000 from NPIF – FW Capital Debt Finance, part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
Wayne Russell, from Hurworth, joins the team with over 20 years’ sales experience in telecoms and IT infrastructure. Previously working for a large data centre company, Wayne managed a small team responsible for approximately 1500 customers across the UK.
Wayne said: “Communicate appealed to me due to their business model and portfolio and the chance to build collaborative long-term relationships with customers. The fact they are listed in Europe`s 1000 fastest growing companies by the Financial Times was a huge attraction.
“From what I have experienced so far, there is a great deal of growth and opportunity amongst their base of existing and potential clients and I’m excited to get started to discover more.”
CEO Tony Snaith added: “Throughout the last 12 months Communicate has grown significantly, and as the business is expanding offering additional support alongside our technical support team is essential. Being responsive to our clients’ needs is what makes us stand out from our competitors, having Wayne on board ensures we can keep listening and evolving.”
Emily Bentley, marketing and business development manager said: “Communicate is set to expand further within the next six months and Wayne’s experience and dedication provides us with confidence that our clients are in the best hands.”
