Constantly seeking to enhance its services, Connect Health is delighted to confirm that its Occupational Health Physiotherapy Service’s annual renewal to SEQOHS accreditation has been successful, making them one of only seven Occupational Health physiotherapy providers to achieve this.

SEQOHS is the “Safe, Effective and Quality Occupational Health Services” and is the nationally recognised quality standard to ensure organisations deliver an excellent service to patients (employees) and customers.

Connect Health is one of the largest occupational health physiotherapy providers in the UK and SEQOHS continues to enable the organisation to be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards and laying the foundation for continual improvement.

Feedback from the SEQOHS assessor included:

“Thank you for completing your annual assessment and providing clarifications and detailed feedback on your results. Your evidence demonstrates a continued commitment and adherence to the standards as set by SEQOHS, and it is a pleasure therefore to recommend that your service’s accreditation should be renewed for a further year. Well done.”

Tracey Atkinson, North Service Manager and OH Clinical Governance lead, who co-ordinated the submission added: “This second year annual renewal, again demonstrates a fantastic team effort to continually improve the quality of occupational Health physiotherapy services we deliver to patients and customers.”

Connect Health has an established track record over 30 years, working with over 100 businesses and NHS contracts in the prevention and effective management of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) within the workplace.

With musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) being the second biggest cause of sickness days recorded and with the added pressure that COVID-19 has put on NHS frontline staff and key workers across many sectors, the demands being made are higher than ever, with some staff working long hours under desperately difficult conditions. It is therefore crucial to support colleagues in a cost-effective way, preventing or minimising workplace risks through proactive interventions that promote wellbeing.
