Christmas has arrived early at Teesside this year with the return of M&S’s seasonal pop-up store, dedicated to all things festive.
Located between Argos and USC, the 4,890 sq ft shop opened its doors today (Thursday 4th October) and will remain open throughout the Christmas period until Saturday 5th January.
The pop-up houses a variety of festive gifts, including Secret Santa presents from £5, kids’ stocking fillers and special treats for loved ones.
Shoppers can also find a range of festive homeware, with decorations, candles and bedding, as well as its much-loved beauty advent calendar.
Christine Scarr, Store Manager at M&S Teesside, said: “Our M&S Christmas pop-up shop was a huge success last year so we’re thrilled to see the return of this additional offering to our local customers. Shopping during the festive season can be so stressful and we have found that some of our customers like to spread the cost and start buying early. Separating our gifts and decorations is more convenient for shoppers and also means we don’t have to reduce the availability of our clothing ranges at M&S Teesside.
“As well as providing a better shopping experience, the pop-up has allowed us to employ 15 temporary colleagues until January who will work across the Christmas store and M&S Teesside. We are looking forward to another busy festive period and helping locals get into the Christmas spirit.”
Mike Clarke, Centre Director at Teesside, said: “With less than 90 days to go until the big day, we’re sure the store will help Teessiders get into the Christmas spirit!
“The pop-up was really popular last year so we hope shoppers will enjoy it again and stock up on gifts for family and friends.”
The M&S Christmas pop-up store will operate the same opening times as M&S Teesside which will be extended during the festive shopping period.
