Quay Concessions, offering 11,000 sq ft retail space, is home to over 30 high street brands.

The team is led by duty managers, Dawn Parkins from Darras Hall and Claire Normandale, from Walker, with sales assistants, Adam Wilson from Benton and Justine Welsh from Wallsend.

Dawn Parkins, said: “I was thrilled to find out I was appointed duty manager, this was a challenge that I really wanted to take on as I am in at the very start of the project. I have been in retail since I was 16 and worked my way up to supervisor and then manager.

“For me, this is a chance to work alongside Claire and the team as we bring an exciting new offering to the outlet. It is what the centre needs and I think it will act as the magnet for both new customers and tenants.

“Quay Concessions appeals to a wide range of people offering accessories, casual wear and top brands from Lambretta, WeirdFish and much more. I am excited at the prospect of its growing popularity over the coming months.”

28-year-old, Claire Normandale, said: “My retail experience began 10 years ago when I left college to work in Primark, Newcastle, and I enjoyed it so much that I stayed on. I feel at home within retail, I enjoy interacting with customers and the fast-paced nature of working within the industry.

“I have built up a wealth of knowledge at Primark, working my way up to a supervisor. I was in need of a fresh challenge and heard about the position of duty manager at Quay Concessions through a friend.”

Centre Manager, Judith Ramshaw, said: “Quay Concessions will be a tremendous asset to Royal Quays. As a centre, we continuously look at ways to provide our loyal customers with variety and this is just what North Tyneside needs.”

Royal Quays Outlet Centre hosts nearly 50 stores which employ 300 staff, making it an important employment source for North Tyneside.
