Close Thornton LLP, based in Duke Street, Darlington has appointed two associate solicitors to its corporate team.
Simon Ellis and Stephen Bennett bring a wealth of expertise to further support the firm’s range of business services.
Simon Ellis has 19 years’ experience in private practice. During his career he has gained experience in various areas of law but specialises in commercial property and conveyancing. With qualifications in health and safety, Simon has worked for a regional mechanical company where he managed his department. A keen walker, Simon enjoys travelling to Europe and organising sporting events.
Stephen Bennett has recently qualified as a solicitor having gained a first-class honours degree at Northumbria University. Since then he has spent two years in practice gaining experience in all aspects of commercial law including commercial litigation, employment law, disputes and commercial property.
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys travelling and plays golf both locally and nationally.
