The legendary Dave Stewart will be returning to Sunderland on 10th September for one night only to play a concert at the Empire Theatre to celebrate his 65th birthday.
Dave will be performing his top hits such as ‘Heart of Stone’, ‘Lily Was Here’ and Mick Jagger collaboration ‘Old Habits Die Hard’.
“I’m looking forward to playing lots of the hit songs I’ve written over the years in the legendary Sunderland Empire.”
“I was born and grew up in Sunderland and have many great memories about my life there (I’m sure more will come flooding back” explained Dave.
“I was a struggling musician as a teenager in Sunderland so I chose to invite the three young local bands to perform before me”
Supporting Dave Stewart on 10th September in Sunderland will be local bands, Social Room, Lilliput and Picnic.
