Demand for Gateshead’s Mesma sees new senior appointment

C35A0461 (4)Expansion at Gateshead-based Mesma has led to co-founder Carole Loader moving into the business on a full-time basis from her senior position at a national FE provider.
The move will allow the business to target further growth for its online education software and consultancy services.
Carole Loader will use her extensive experience in the education sector as Mesma sees continued strong demand for its quality management software and supporting consultancy.
Working closely with fellow directors Louise Doyle and Neil Donkin, she will oversee the firm’s consultancy activity and forthcoming new product launches in preparation for Mesma’s focus on securing financial investment.
Launched into the education sector in 2013, Mesma’s versatile software ensures education providers are properly prepared for the new Ofsted inspection framework that came into force in September 2015 among other measures.

Mesma, which has seen sales take off among both public and private sector education providers since launching in 2013, is also looking to recruit additional software developers to bolster its existing team.

Louise Doyle said that the firm will benefit from Carole working full time: “Carole’s dedicated role will be a major asset as we continue to build and nurture a dedicated team of highly skilled people to support our fast growing customer base.
“In recent months we have seen increased demand for our quality management consultancy services for clients who use the Mesma software platform and we want to be able to support that requirement.
“As with most start-up businesses we have built up our client base whilst holding down other jobs. This is a big step both personally for Carole as well as for the future of our business.”
Louise and her fellow directors have more than 30 years experience in business and working in with the education sector between them, helping head teachers and other staff complete self-assessment – a requirement of the Ofsted common inspection framework. More at www.mesma.co.uk
