Continued growth in demand for its full range of services has led one regional architectural practice to announce a key promotion and the creation of two new roles.
Award-winning Howarth Litchfield, recently appointed to take Durham’s NetPark to the next stage of its development has welcomed its first female board member Elsa Berry.
Elisa’s promotion, which forms part of the firm’s strategic plans to ensure its continued success and future growth, recognises the significant contribution she has made to the practice since joining in 2000. Whilst she has experience across many sectors including housing , commercial and Medical, Elisa is noted for the work she does in education from nursery level through to further and higher education.
To further strengthen its Building Information Modelling (BIM) offering, Howarth Litchfield has appointed Marc Warren as its dedicated BIM manager. In his new role, Marc will have responsibility for promoting the practice’s capabilities externally as well as sharing his knowledge internally, to ensure that both clients and project partners benefit from working with a practice that is at the forefront of design delivery using the latest technologies.
Jeff Graham, another newcomer to the team, has taken up the role of senior technologist. Since joining the industry, Jeff has worked across many sectors including commercial property, retail leisure and education. It is this wide-ranging experience that will add further depth to Howarth Litchfield’s overall offering.
Speaking about the practice’s growing team, director David Pickersgill said:
“Howarth Litchfield cares passionately about the work it does and providing clients with innovative design services across architecture and interiors. To support this passion, it is important that we recognise the talent we already possess while at the same time recruit and retain people with the right skills set in order for us to expand the practice further.
“I am delighted that Elisa’s contribution has been recognised and we look forward to her appointment bringing an additional dimension to the board. I am confident that both Marc and Jeff will, in their own way, each make a positive contribution to our continued success.”
