An app has now been released focusing on the heritage of the Heart of Teesdale area.
Free to download the app celebrates the historic and modern heritage of the project area, drawing on research carried out during the project and existing knowledge. The app will appeal to visitors and locals alike as it also highlights some of the lesser known places. Sites featured include the Viewmarker art pieces’ locations, haiku poetry, and a recently consolidated lime kiln. There are also walking routes followed through GPS tracking.
