Cheshire Phoenix are delighted to announce the signing of their former point guard, Mike Dinunno.

Dinunno averaged 16 points and four assists per game during the 2014-15 season and will join up with the current squad for the remainder of the campaign.

On his return, Dinunno said: “I am happy to be returning to Cheshire Phoenix for the remainder of the season.

“I knew the first time I played for the Phoenix that it was a special place with a unique passion for the game.

“After my first time in Cheshire, I always felt a personal responsibility to try and come back and win for those passionate fans, and now that time has come.

“I am extremely grateful to the management and coaching staff, in showing so much confidence in me and giving me the opportunity to finish what we started in 2015.”

Head coach, Robbie Peers added: “Mike brings real quality at a much-needed position that we need to fill.

“He’s an exciting player who is a real threat and we are looking forward to welcoming him back to the club.”

Dinunno will arrive in time for the next home game against Plymouth Raiders on 19 February.
