FABULOUS fashions through the decades will be the subject of a special event at South Shields next month. (December).
On Friday 7 December, The Word, National Centre for the Written Word, is holding History Wardrobe Presents… Dressed to Impress.
The theme of the evening will be special occasion gladrags, from first date frocks to white tie and tails, from the 1930s through to the 80s.
And the History Wardrobe team will not only model the outfits but also give an insight into why people wore the clothes they did at various points in history.
History Wardrobe Presents… Dressed to Impress, is suitable for those aged 16 and over and starts at 7pm.
