600-year-old Lumley Castle, at Chester-le-Street, County Durham – near historic Durham city, the intu Metrocentre at Gateshead and Newcastle city centre – has launched a Friday Night Getaway package from as little as £87.50 per person.
Guests can celebrate the end of the working week with an a la carte dinner in the hotel’s renowned Black Knight restaurant, an overnight stay in a sumptuous Courtyard bedroom and a full English or continental breakfast on theSaturday morning.
