Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Entrepreneur announced as Ambassador for local children’s charity

A well known local entrepreneur has lent her support in the role of Ambassador to local children’s charity Children North East.
Jules Quinn, founder of The Teashed and Pop a Ball, is the first Ambassador for the charity and sits alongside Patrons, Tim Healy and Denise Welch.
Jules, who was this year named in the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list, said: “It’s an honour to be asked to be the first ambassador for Children North East. Giving children support is crucial and sometimes support needs to come in different ways, which is what I hope to help with. I have lots of ideas on what we can do together and ultimately I hope to inspire and support children to believe in themselves and to be happy.”
As part of her role as Ambassador, Jules will be working closely with young people who attend the charity’s WEYES (West End Youth Enquiry Service) Project.  Whilst attending the Friday Group run by the project recently, Jules also announced a collaboration between the young people and her company, working together on new products in July 2017.
Jeremy Cripps, Chief Executive of Children North East, said: “We are delighted that such a fantastic representative of the north east has so kindly agreed to become an Ambassador of Children North East.”
“Having the support of Jules Quinn will act as a huge inspiration for the children, young people and families we work with and we look forward to welcoming her into the Children North East family.”
