North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Entrepreneurs’ Forum announces collaboration with Scaleup North East to support region’s businesses

The Entrepreneurs’ Forum has strengthened its relationship with Scaleup North East in a new collaboration that will provide much-needed support to businesses across the region.

Businesses on the Scaleup North East programme will now be able to access the Entrepreneurs’ Forum’s online events which are aimed specifically at entrepreneur-led businesses.

The events offer a combination of subject-based discussions and general peer support and are a fundamental part of the Forum’s newly launched online Support Hub.

Ailsa Anderson, Scaleup North East project manager, said:  “This is a fabulous opportunity for all the businesses on the Scaleup North East programme to access additional valuable support from the Forum in uncertain times, maintain connections to other businesses and plan for the future”

Michael Dixon, membership and mentoring manager at the Entrepreneurs’ Forum, said: “We have worked with Scaleup North East for a long time, first of all with our annual Scale-up Leader’s Academy and now our online Support Hub.

“Through this collaboration, we will support more North East businesses and help to navigate through this time of uncertainty.”

The Forum is also working alongside its corporate and business support partners to provide valuable support and advice to its membership.

Corporate partners include Brewin Dolphin, Diamond Group, Deloitte, Barclays Eagle Labs, Encore Group, Gateshead College, Hilton, Narrative, TOC Property Backed Lending Trust and Ward Hadaway.

Business support partners include Tees Valley Combined Authority, North East Local Enterprise Partnership, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, University of Sunderland, Teesside University and Northern Accelerator.

Michael added: “Collaboration is at the heart of what we do at the Entrepreneurs’ Forum. Working closely with our partners allows us to direct high-quality advice and guidance to our members at such an important time.

“We all need to work together in the coming months to continue supporting and strengthening the North East business community.”

Upcoming Support Hub events include managing cashflow, navigating government support and leading during a crisis, with more events released each week. For more information, visit www.entrepreneursforum.net
