Erudus announces new Integration Partner ahead of Natasha’s Law

Newcastle based software firm Erudus have named labelling software supplier Planglow as the first of several key new integration partners for 2021, complimenting their continued growth this year. The partnership comes ahead of the implementation of Natasha’s Law later this year, and will allow Caterers to directly access critical nutritional and allergen information from Erudus’s 41,000 strong Data Pool of branded products and add it to the labelling of their food and drink items via Planglow’s labelling software.
Planglow offers food labels, label printing software and compostable packaging solutions for the food industry, and they join the likes of RNF, Shed 41 and LadyLodge in using Erudus’s public API to access the extensive Erudus Data Pool. Over 800 Manufacturers upload their product specifications to Erudus, so that it can be accessed by Wholesalers and Caterers all in one place.
The two companies are working on delivering integrated software options for businesses across the food service industry. Through Planglow’s labelling app LabelLogic Live Caterers can now create and print their own branded food labels that encompass the full ingredient declarations and nutritional breakdowns of thousands of branded products on Erudus.
Planglow National Accounts Director Neil Steadman says:
“Planglow and Erudus have a very similar ethos – we are delighted to have partnered with a company whose trusted data expertise so ably supports our own. With Erudus’s support we’ve been able to complement the existing capabilities of our own food labelling software to create an enhanced labelling solution for Caterers using branded products in their food to go items.”
Erudus COO Jon Shayler says:
“Planglow does great work, and I’m excited about the gains our mutual customers are going to enjoy as a result of their partnership with Erudus. Planglow’s LabelLogic Live label printing is the crucial kind of solution that’s going to help Caterers adapt to the upcoming Natasha’s Law, and the forward thinking of integrating it with our Data Pool means Caterers can benefit from multiple efficiencies and benefits that will ultimately be passed on to their customers.”
