A Middlesbrough based communications company, which is set to experience rapid growth over the next year, has invested in new roots that reflect the quality of its client base.
Colehouse Communications has opened a new office in Commerce House, a grade II listed building in the heart of the city, to ensure that as it grows the company is set in the right environment.
Latest appointment to the team by owner Steve Cole is Natalie McDermott, who has joined as a digital marketing specialist. She will soon be joined by an apprentice, who Steve will be investing in, to ensure that the latest raft of clients is well looked after.
Steve, who moved back to the North East following a successful digital marketing career in London, opened Colehouse Communications five years ago. Since then he and the team have build an impressive portfolio of clients. They were involved in the campaign encouraging young people to vote in the 2015 General Election with Bite The Ballot collaborating directly with Twitter, ITV News and YouTube, more recently they have worked closely on the largest TEDx events ever in Manchester and Newcastle this year. Steve said:
“Our portfolio has included some high quality names this year as digital clients, including the Great Exhibition of the North, Thinking Digital and Quadratech. We have also expanded our performance marketing offering, due to the huge success we have had in demonstrating return on investment.”
Colehouse Communication’s clients are spread across the UK, including Manchester, London and Bristol but Steve was adamant that he wanted his roots to be in Middlesbrough. And that he would be focused on creating jobs for people from Teesside.
On visiting Commerce House the first time, he knew he had found ‘home’:
“I wasn’t expecting to want to move in when I first visited. But the way the building made me feel was indescribable. It was like stepping into a corporate high end solicitors or a really desirable five star hotel. I was looking for an office where I wanted to spend time, and I was blown away to have found it!
“It has a different feel to other offices I have visited. Commerce House reflects where the company is right now, and both the team and the client base love it here.”
Steve is looking to double the size of the business in the coming year with experience digital marketers working with event based companies, SME’s blue chip corporates and charities across every industry!
Christine Huntington, facilities manager at Commerce House, said:
“We have extended a huge welcome to Steve and the Colehouse Communications team. The company is exactly what Commerce House is all about. High standards, good performance and steeped in Teesside passion!”
