North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

The charity event held at Framwellgate School Durham was a huge success last year with spectators young and old enjoying the dazzling display. This year will also include fairground rides, music, food and refreshments to ensure fun for all the family.

Last year’s inaugural event was attended by more than 3,500 people and helped to raise a staggering £15,000 for the charity. High numbers are expected once again, and tickets can be purchased in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Event organiser Jade McArdle said: “We had an amazing response to our event last year. It was a fantastic night and it was wonderful to hear the gasps of excitement from the crowd every time a firework went off.”

“We are excited to return to Framwellgate School, it’s a fantastic venue and Impact Pyrotechnics will manage the display again this year to ensure the event is another show-stopper and a 5th of November to remember.”

Funds raised for the charity from the display will help to aid the Hospice in continuing to provide free palliative care and bereavement support to the people of County Durham.

To register for tickets for the event, sponsored by Ramside Hall and supported by Councillors Amanda Hopgood, Mamie Simmons and Mark Wilkes, visit www.stcuthbertshospice.com or contact the Development Team on 0191 368 1170 extension 5.
