Communications and hosting wholesale provider Stratus Technologies are celebrating a very successful first year of trading by achieving £1m of sales.
Stratus Technologies formed in September 2016 but are already achieving double their targets, with the £1m milestone reached in July. The revenue, accomplished by Sales Manager Steven Cox, has allowed the company to take on new staff, taking their count up to 5, with plans for more additions in the near future.
The Teesside based firm partner with IT and Communications firms to deliver a range of specialised data centre and communication solutions. They own a Data Centre facility that offers the very latest in cloud technology and communications whilst also being able to deliver VoIP solutions.
“I couldn’t have wished for a better first few months for us” revealed Steven. “Businesses are becoming more aware of the marketplace and end users are becoming more price sensitive. Our solutions resolves pain points for both of these audiences and takes out any stress and complexity regularly perceived with the IT industry”.
Stratus have won contracts with over 110 different IT firms in all 4 corners of the country, as well as projects in Wales and Scotland.
Latest member of the team Ilona joins to take on a sales and admin assistant role. The influx of multiple new lucrative contracts means adding to the existing workforce became a necessity.
“I am delighted to be able to welcome Ilona to the team”, added Gavin, Director of Stratus. “It’s a testament to how Steven and the company is performing and how we operate that we are creating a demand that generates new jobs”.
Stratus are hoping this is just the start of things to come with a number of exciting opportunities in the pipeline for the business. Additional staff and further growth are on the horizon with new partners signing up to work with the firm now a daily basis.
