Following last week’s popularity, circus performers return to the Spanish City Plaza, Whitley Bay, this Saturday and Sunday (July 30 and 31).
Performers will be appearing at the Plaza across the six-week break from Japan, USA, Spain, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.
This weekend’s event is hosted by American Todd Various with shows from UK street performers Felicity Footloose, Danny 5 and the Barefoot Businessmen.
Visitors can expect lots of tricks, stunts, fun and plenty of audience participation with shows on the hour between noon and 3pm.
And continuing this week and next, free weekday activities take place at Tynemouth Station.
Next week, from August 1, they will be provided by ARTventurers, Glooptastic, Startastic Tots and more, and will run during the mornings.
In the afternoons, a range of live jazz performances will take place from The Kirsty Forster Trio, Broadway Melody, Maine Street Jazzmen and more.
