Hardwick Live 2015 returns to Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield on Saturday August 22, headlined by legendary British band, James.

This year, as well as three stages of live music, the one-day event will also boast a larger variety of family-friendly attractions, designed to cater for visitors aged three and above.

This includes a designated Children’s Area, offering arts and crafts activities, storytelling and face painting, as well as Punch and Judy shows and a magician.

There will also be a separate children’s fairground, where visitors can purchase an arm band and enjoy unlimited rides all afternoon.

John Adamson, owner of Ramside Estates which runs Hardwick Live, said: “Hardwick Live has always been popular for families and this year we wanted to make sure that visitors of all ages could really enjoy a fun-filled day out.

“There will be plenty of attractions on offer specifically for young people aged three and above, not to mention the stellar line-up of live music that will be running throughout the afternoon.”

Hardwick Live 2015 is being headlined by James, with Main Stage appearances by very special guests Razorlight, as well as Embrace and 10cc.

For the first time this year the one-day festival will also feature a Discovery Stage, headlined by Britpop icons Cast and a separate Dome, hosting comedy performances during the afternoon and DJ sets into the night.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, with various drinks tents, a 30 metre bar and a wide range of food stalls positioned around the site, offering everything from freshly made pizzas and ribs to Thai curries, hog roasts and traditional fish and chips.

Tickets for Hardwick Live 2015 are priced at £8 for children aged three to 12, £15 for young people aged 13 to 16 and £49 per adult.  All child and young person tickets must be purchased with an adult ticket.

For families who wish to extend the experience, Ramside Estates is also offering a limited number of camping spots, charged at £25 per tent.
