Vroom… Vroom…

People are standing along the boundary of the carpeted track. You can hear the loud noise of cheers. But the noise of roaring engines of cars of high-prestige brands aligned on the track is overpowering all other noises.

Drivers are sitting in the cars, their heads covered with helmets. No one can see their faces, but everyone knows that their faces will be blushing with fervor and hearts pounding with excitement. Yes, Formula 1 race is about to begin!

This is the story of all Formula 1 car competitions, one of the most prestigious car racing competitions. But there is a lot more to this high-end car competitions than what we see on the screen or while standing in the stand of spectators. Behind the event is complex engineering of luxury car brands, intricate logistics, and planning of event organizers that demand the minimum possibility of mistakes. Because when cars are running at a speed of 200+ mph, you can’t afford to commit any logistics or designing blunder.

If you are a new fan who has fallen for adrenaline rush world of Formula 1, then here is everything you need to know about this world:

This Raving Game is Not New:

The Formula 1 game might seem like a plush of the modern world with high-tech cars, but that’s not true. Car race history dots back to 1906 when the Automobile Club de France held the very first Grand Prix. Thirty-two cars participated in the competition on a track of 65-mile, and the competition continued for two days. That was just the beginning of shaping the Formula 1 car race, the mega racing competition of the automobile world.

Basic Rules that Govern the Game:

Formula 1 racing competition is organized by FIA – Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, which means the International Automobile Federation. The event that started in 1950 took its name ‘Formula’ race because it is conducted under a defined set of rules that the participants have to follow. It means that this sport might seem like a free-spirited game, but in reality, you and your car have to meet certain criteria to qualify for this sport and to participate in it.

As of 2019, only 10 teams are allowed to participate in the race that means a total of 20 cars are present on the track, 2 cars of each team.

It goes without saying that participants’ cars should have a powerful engine and a well-built structure. That’s why only luxury car brands’ cars, like Mercedes and Ferrari, participate in the event.

The winner is decided based on the points the racer earns that are rewarded based on the place a racer ends the race.

Everyone Worker has a Huge Responsibility:

Every person involved in the process holds a huge responsibility that can be compared to only a few jobs in the world. The performance of the car and the safety of the driver depends on the working of these people. Even a lack of attention in fine-tuning of the front and rear wings of the car can cost a lot during the race. So, being a worker of the Formula 1 car team demands a lot more than a mere desire to get a paycheck every month. It takes passion, dedication, and full commitment to your work that make every worker a full powerhouse and essential element in making a participant a winner.

Being a Formula 1 Racer is a State of Mind:

You can’t become a soccer player within a few days or with a couple of month’s training. You have to start training from a young age if you want to become a soccer player of big teams. Similarly, to sit in a Formula 1 car and see your name written with world champions Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve, and Fernando Alonso, you have to start earlier.

The Renault Sport Academy and Winfield Racing School are a few of the training schools that offer training to Formula 1 wannabes and carve out a champion out of them.

The key to becoming the best racer is to start your training as soon as possible. The ideal age of training is 15, but it is even better to start molding your child’s mind when they are in primary school. After all, Formula 1 racing is a state of mind and only brave hearts, and those who dare to drive at the speed of 200+ mph can dare to sit behind the wheels of Formula 1 cars that soar.
