Say adios to Sunderland, as one of the North East’s leading venues packs its bags for sunny Spain.
This summer, staff at The Beach House bistro, Roker, will be donning their sombreros and serving up an array of authentic tapas on selected Fridays in May, June and July.

Management, begins with a reception drink, as well as bread and olives served on arrival.
Diners can then opt for either four or six dishes, including meat and fish, from a selection of seasonal tapas.
This includes spicy chorizo sausages, salt and pepper squid, chicken and ham croquettes, crispy whitebait, meatballs in tomato piparade, king prawns in chilli and garlic and chicken marinated in lemon, oregano, garlic and pimenton.
A wide range of vegetarian options are also available, including Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas, garlic and paprika potato wedges, vegetable empanadas, a selection of Spanish-style dips with country bread and roasted pepper salad with marinated tomatoes and olives.
All diners will also receive a selection of traditional Spanish cured meats, served with mixed olives, Manchego cheese, olive oil, ciabatta and a sherry vinegar dip, with desserts available on request.

Tapas En La Casa De Playa will be served at The Beach House on Friday May 1 and 29, June 26 and July 24.
It is priced at £14.50 per person for five items and £17 per person for seven items, which includes the diner’s choice of tapas and the traditional meat plate. Additional items can also be added at a cost of £3 each.
This forms part of a wider programme of seasonal events, which will be running at The Beach House throughout the summer.
