COUPLES in need of some “me” time can get all wrapped up in two new packages on offer at an award-winning North East spa.
Ramside Spa, at Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa near Durham, has unveiled two special pamper experiences aimed at anyone in desperate need of rest and relaxation.
The Couple’s Cocoon has brought together a number of the spa’s top treatments, with a shorter Couple’s Mini Cocoon for those who have slightly less time to spare.
Both packages start at 2pm, where couples get two full hours of full spa access plus the choice of 45 minutes in either the private infinity pool or the mud rasul chamber.
The rasul offers the opportunity to self apply special nourishing muds in a private steam room, which are then rinsed away in a tropical monsoon-like shower.
It includes a 55 minute couples massage for the full package, while the mini package includes a 25 minute massage.
A two course dinner at the spa’s Asian Fusion restaurant tops off the experience, with complimentary use of fluffy robes and slippers for the duration of the visit.
Victoria Walker, Spa Director at Ramside Spa, said the new packages had been created with relaxation in mind.
“They are the perfect packages for couples to enjoy together with a whole range of fantastic treatments and experiences as well as the use of the spa facilities,” she said.

The Couple’s Cocoon costs £298 a couple while the mini version is £249 per couple.
