Screen Shot 2015-09-28 at 09.40.44A £200,000 contract with Richmondshire District Council means they will be the sole provider for damp proofing and timber treatments of 21,000 homes and commercial properties throughout the County of North Yorkshire over the next four years.

As well as this, the thriving young company has relocated from Woodland Road to Cleveland Trading Estate in Darlington. The office, which includes storage facilities, is triple the size of the previous location and has been newly refurbished to perfectly suit BCS Preservation’s needs.

The business which has only been trading for four years, has also appointed its sixth member of staff, Scott Howell from Bishop Auckland who has joined as contracts manager.

Michelle Davidson said: “We are delighted to have won this contract and excited to provide our premier services to thousands of homes across Richmondshire.”

BCS Preservation specialises in property preservation, wood preservation and environmental services. They undertake projects from diagnosis to project planning and execution and all their work comes with a 20-year guarantee.

Aaron Davidson said: “This is just the beginning – we are currently bidding for other large contracts in the North East, Yorkshire and further a field, that will continue to promote growth in the company.

“We are looking forward to expanding our services, growing turnover and adding four new employees to the team over the next few years.”

BCS Preservation is also looking to provide clients with an after-service care team in the near future which will offer cleaning and decorating services.
