Three is the magic number for intu’s The Big Trick or Treat event, which takes place for the third time this October half-term at intu Eldon Square and intu Metrocentre.

Shoppers are invited to take a trip with their little monsters to scare away the half-term holiday boredom with a spook-tacular weekend filled with free activities for all ages to enjoy.

With the chance to go trick or treating in a safe and warm environment, little ones can dress up in their most frightening costumes and follow the trail around the centres to discover the devilish delights on offer. Simply collect your bucket from the customer service desk in intu Eldon Square’s St. Andrew’s Way or visit the Family Club kiosk in intu Metrocentre’s Town Square.

New for 2018, a series of bespoke witching hours have been announced throughout the day at intu Eldon Square. An autism-friendly hour will be hosted on Saturday 27 October between 9am-10am, giving shoppers the opportunity to experience the centre at a more relaxed pace, while on Sunday 28 October between 11am-12noon children can receive double the amount of scrumptious treats during its ‘Double Sweets Hour’.

Gavin Prior, regional centre director at intu said: “Halloween is one of the most exciting events in our calendar here at intu and we’ve lots of ghoulish activities and goings-on that the children and grown-ups will love. We’re expecting lots of little ones to come along in fancy dress as both centres offer families a safe place to go trick or treating in with a warm environment.”

intu’s The Big Trick or Treat will take place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October 2018 between 11am – 4pm at intu Eldon Square. The event will take place between 10am – 6pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday at intu Metrocentre.
