PASSIONATE petrolheads can enjoy a day out among 400 vintage vehicles, when the North East Classic Car and Motorcycle Show returns to the North East next weekend (22 May).
The annual event will once again be staged at Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall Hotel, bringing together classic cars and motorcycles, with a number of top awards up for grabs.
The family friendly event will also offer a number of stalls and food and drink outlets, to ensure that it’s a full day out for everyone to enjoy.
Those who have vehicles dated no later than 2007 still have time to exhibit in the event, with everyone who takes part receiving a commemorative plaque and the chance to compete for awards including Pride of Ownership, Club of the Show and Car of the Show.
The decisions on the winners will be made by a panel of experienced judges, with the whole event overseen by commentator Richard Lee, a regular at the events.
Tickets for the show are £9 for adults and £4 for children and can be bought on the day or in advance from show organisers, Classic Shows, at www.classicshows.org at a discounted rate up to Friday 20 May.
There is also still time for exhibitors to register their vehicles to take part in the event, at a cost of £5 per car and for anyone interested in a trading pitch. Further details are available by contacting Classic Shows at info@classicshows.org or calling 01484 666776.
The event runs from 10am until 4pm.
