South Shields’ riverside will become a hive of activity this Sunday (3 July) with a variety of local artists and craftspeople selling their wares at Harton Quays Park Craft Market.
Over the summer, visitors can browse a wealth of stalls selling a range of distinctive goods and gifts.
The next event, on Sunday, takes place between 10.30am and 3pm at Harton Quays Park with stalls selling everything from sweet treats and local produce to bespoke homeware,organic beauty products and handmade jewellery.
The Harton Quays Park Summer Craft Markets will continue to run on the first Sunday of the month until September (Sundays 7 August and 4 September).
Environmental charity Groundwork South Tyneside and Newcastle (STAN) is running the Craft Markets in partnership with South Tyneside Council.
The markets are just one of the highlights of this year’s South Tyneside Festival extensive programme of events, activities and entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
