Popular Teesside IT specialists Gbiz celebrate three new contract wins
A popular Teesside business has got 2019 off to a flying start with three new contract wins!
IT specialists Gbiz have built up a great community reputation after being based in their Marske town centre shop for the last twelve years.
And now, with a range of business to business services and a growing number of over 150 business clients, the three new contracts provide broadband, telephone, website and IT support to:
Coopers Chemists: A popular local pharmacy, with branches in Redcar, Marske and Great Ayton.
Minster Self-Drive: A well-known car, van and minibus hire company, with a growing fleet of over 500 vehicles across branches in Middlesbrough, Sunderland, York and Wakefield.
Partners 4 Care: Based in Stockton and Ripon, Partners 4 Care provide a unique model of care and support services to elderly, disabled and vulnerable people across Teesside and North Yorkshire.
Gbiz expanded quickly through recommendations after setting up 15 years ago as a mobile PC repair service.
They went on to open a small shop in Saltburn before relocating to their current larger shop in Marske town centre in April 2007, and now employ six people.
Gbiz founder Garry Stonehouse, an IT professional for over 20 years, welcomed the three new contract wins.
“It’s a great start to the year for us, and three fantastic companies to work with,” said Garry.
“They are all busy, thriving, and much respected businesses, and we’re delighted to welcome them aboard.
“Ten years ago, we had a mix of around 90% retail and 10% business services. Now, although we still have a busy shop selling direct to the public and love being here in the town centre, we’ve grown and developed to a point where our business services now account for over 75% of our annual turnover.”
Jonathan Cooper, of Coopers Chemists, said: “We were looking for a trusted, reliable, and well-established company to provide expert IT support, and Garry and his team at Gbiz fitted the bill perfectly.”
Steve Hind, of Minster Self-Drive, said: “We cover the whole of Yorkshire and the North East, and were looking for friendly and expert IT support to help our future plans for growth. Gbiz came highly recommended, and Garry and his team shone out a mile when we sat down together to look at what we do.”
Emma Murray, Co-Founder of Partners 4 Care added “We’re a growing company, and we quickly realized that we needed a reliable IT and telecoms provider that had the same approach to their customers as ourselves. Gbiz ticked all the boxes for us, and we’re delighted to be working with them.”
Gbiz supports a growing range of businesses across Teesside, the North East and North Yorkshire, with services including Business Fibre Broadband, IT support, internal and external telephone systems, website design and maintenance, till systems for a full range of retail businesses, and WiFi hotspot routers for restaurants, cafes and hotels.
