H&H Land and Property Welcome in the New Year with Key Appointment

CaptureOne of the north of England’s leading Rural Practitioners H&H Land and Property have announced the appointment of Will Parker as Associate Director. Will, a Chartered Surveyor and rural enterprise specialist, will be based at the Durham office of H&H Land and Property.  Joining from GSC Grays, Will is from a farming background and has worked across the industry for a number of years, gaining extensive experience in rural surveying and estate management.

H&H Land and Property offer a comprehensive range of services together with a professional approach to providing innovative advice across specialist service areas including estate management, rural land and business, residential management, valuation and surveying, planning and development, conservation and environmental pursuits, property and property agency.

As an Associate Director, Will provides support to the directors to assist with the development of the company whilst growing the breadth of the business across Durham and into his homeland roots of North Yorkshire.  Within this role, he will also deliver and maintain a strategic approach to ensure H&H Land and Property clients maximise their assets and plan for future generations. Responsible for managing sales and acquisitions he will additionally assist clients, by offering financial advice on the viability of proposed expenditure and provide farmers and landowners with the analysis of information required, to make an informed decision.

Educated at St. Peter’s School in York, and Ampleforth College, Will graduated from Harper Adams University with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. He spent his placement year as Trainee Factor on the 55,000 acre Roxburghe Estates.

On taking up his new position, Will said: “Specialising in strategic estate management and land development I have managed a number of diverse estates. I particularly enjoy working within the rural sector of the business and I am very keen to broaden my horizons in the property sector assisting farmers and landowners with the challenges they face in today’s market.”

“I was born and brought up on a farm on the outskirts of Wetherby and have a good knowledge of the geographical area of North Yorkshire and County Durham.  Operating out of the Durham office, one of my key objectives is to develop the business along the A1 corridor, east coast and the Pennines.”
