Cottages in Northumberland – which lets out more than 180 coastal, countryside and city properties in the region – has appointed Samantha Mcculloch to the position of sales and marketing coordinator.

Samantha, 29, from Hebburn, brings several years’ experience of customer facing sales to the role in which she will be responsible for handling customer enquiries and coordinating their holiday requirements.

“This is a new challenge for me, and there’s lots to learn,” she said, “but I’m excited to use and develop my skills. There’s a great team at Cottages in Northumberland and I’m happy to be a part of it.”

Samantha’s appointment follows a continued period of growth for the company, which saw a 13 per cent increase in business in the first six months of this year. With a new member of the team now on board, they will be able to develop the business and provide first class support and service to property owners and guests alike.

“We have recently expanded our portfolio of properties and extended our customer base to meet demand from corporate and leisure visitors coming to the region from the UK and overseas,” said Cottages in Northumberland manager, Angela Mazingham.

“Samantha has a lovely, lively personality, which, combined with her sales experience, will make her an asset to our team and to our customers.”
