Families affected by autism are set to benefit from additional support this year, thanks to Teesside-based accommodation, conference and event management specialist Hospitality Guaranteed.

A percentage of all ticket sales generated from Hospitality Guaranteed’s new online event management and registration system, EventStop, will be donated to Daisy Chain, a charity which provides a haven for children and young people with autism.

Daisy Chain currently supports more than 1800 families across the Tees Valley and more than 600 children and 30 adults per week, from a 5.5-acre farm in Stockton-on-Tees.

As well as the donations made through EventStop, Hospitality Guaranteed is carrying out a wide range of fundraising activities for Daisy Chain. Eight members of the Hospitality Guaranteed team are participating in the sponsored Daisy Chain Annual Boat race on July 1 at Tees Barrage International White Water Centre, while on September 10, Ben Gash, accommodation, conference and events manager at Hospitality Guaranteed will be doing the Great North Run to raise money for the charity. And on March 31, Hospitality Guaranteed staff held an afternoon tea and raffle on behalf of Daisy Chain and raised a total of £300.

In addition, on June 11, Victoria Brunton, director and co-founder of Hospitality Guaranteed will participate in the Cleveland Four Peaks Challenge to raise money on behalf of Daisy Chain. The challenge includes the peaks of Roseberry Topping, Captain Cook’s Monument, Codhill Heights and Highcliff Nab in a 12.6-mile loop, which is to be completed in less than eight hours.

Launched in June 2006 by Amanda Jackson and Victoria Brunton, Hospitality Guaranteed works with around 3000 conference and meeting venue suppliers in the UK. Headquartered in Wynyard Park, it has access to more than 80,000 accommodation venues worldwide.

The company has developed a unique bookings and management system HGOneStop, which provides the foundation for its online systems. These include ApprenticeStop, a system that supports businesses running apprentice or staff residential programmes; ConferenceStop, a conference booking and management system; and AccommodationStop, which allows users to book and manage hotel stays.

Earlier this year Hospitality Guaranteed added EventStop, an online portal for event management and organisation, to the HGOneStop system. EventStop, which has been developed in-house by Hospitality Guaranteed, gives event organisers the freedom to create their own customised event pages, invitations and confirmation emails, using their own brand identity, including logo and visual elements, and has been designed to help organisations easily manage logistics and revenue.

Hospitality Guaranteed’s clients include businesses in the education, automotive, retail and manufacturing sectors.

Victoria Brunton said: “We are extremely proud to support the great work that Daisy Chain does; it is fantastic that we can use EventStop as a platform to benefit our local community and the families within it.

“The Hospitality Guaranteed team has a great community spirit and I am thoroughly looking forward to participating in the Cleveland Four Peaks Challenge. We hope that the money we raise can have a positive impact on Daisy Chain and the people it supports.”

Amanda Jackson, director and co-founder of Hospitality Guaranteed, added: “At Hospitality Guaranteed we are dedicated to supporting the local community, so it is an honour to be able to raise money on behalf of Daisy Chain.

“We are delighted that EventStop can contribute to helping families in the North East who are affected by autism.

Holly Abbott, corporate partnership manager at the Daisy Chain Project, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Hospitality Guaranteed and we are very excited to have them on board as supporters of Daisy Chain.

“Every year we rely very heavily on the support of local businesses to enable us to continue to provide our services to families, so it truly is great to have the backing of a regional firm with such a stellar reputation.”

Hospitality Guaranteed is a member of the Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBBA) and is AIM accredited by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) – an industry-recognised mark of excellence.

Established in 2003, Daisy Chain provides children with autism access to facilities which include a day centre, sensory play area and a farm. The charity also provides help and training for parents, carers and siblings of young people with autism.
