Heating, insulation and renewables firm, 0800 Repair, is hoping to build on a successful year and recent award successes, after being shortlisted for a national accolade.
The Houghton le Spring-based company is a finalist at the H&V News Awards for the second year running and is hoping to build on its Highly Commended achievement that it received at 2018’s event.
0800 Repair has been shortlisted in the Domestic Heating Contractor of the Year category at the awards, which will take place on 25th April 2019 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The H&V News Awards is recognised as the most prestigious and longest running awards ceremony for the construction, heating and plumbing industry.
Established in 2010, 0800 Repair forms part of Pacifica Group, one of the UK’s largest providers of home services and product warranty. The Group handles in excess of 4,500 jobs per week and employs more than 470 staff, including 250 field-based engineers.
This latest shortlisting follows of a strong year for Pacifica Group, as it was recognised with several awards in 2018.
The Group won the national Social Responsibility Company of the Year award at the 2018 Energy Efficiency Awards, while 0800 Repair was recognised with a Special Commendation in the Multi-Measure Project category. 0800 Repair was also Highly Commended in the Boiler & Heating Installer and Contractor of the Year category at the regional North East Energy Efficiency Awards.
Pacifica Group saw revenues rise to a record £27.2m in 2018 and is expecting this figure to rise to in excess of £40m for 2019.
