Employees at a local housing group raised hundreds of pounds for charity by dressing down for the day.
Staff at County Durham Housing Group and its landlords – Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes – raised £254 for Cancer Research UK.
County Durham Housing Group’s Chief Executive, Bill Fullen, said: “Colleagues across the group chose three charities to raise money for this year: Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support.
“This is the first of our monthly fundraisers and it’s a fantastic outcome for such a worthwhile cause.
“The group’s employees continue to show what can be achieved by working together.”
In the last financial year, colleagues across County Durham Housing Group raised more than £11,000 for a variety of charities.
