Florida is known for its beautiful beaches and sunny weather. The demographics are diverse and so are the options on things to do. Take a Cruise

The Miami, Florida port area is a popular place to depart for a cruise. If you are looking for cruises from Miami you will not be disappointed with what you find. While taking a cruise you can relax, have drinks, and participate in different activities on board.

You can choose to cruise to the Bahamas or the Caribbean. When the ship docks, you can get off and explore. There is the option to shop, swim at the beach, and try local foods. Cruises can be romantic or family-friendly.

Go Scuba Diving

There are many places to go snorkeling and scuba diving in Florida. Some say the state is home to the best reefs and beautiful fish for you to see. There are even freshwater springs in central Florida that you will want to explore.

You may want to go to Crystal River and see the manatees or go to the more private Devil’s Den Springs. Dry Tortugas National Park is home to coral islands and south of Key West. It hosts many starfish and lobsters. Scuba diving is a great way to explore the ocean around you.

See the Gardens

Florida has a very tropical climate which means lots of beautiful plants grow there. Why not take a leisurely visit to some of their famous sanctuaries or gardens? Bok Tower Gardens is a bird sanctuary in Lake Wales, Florida, and is 250 acres of flowers, trees, art, and numerous plants. It is said to give breathtaking views.

The Sunken Gardens is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. They have existed for longer than a century and are one of the oldest roadside tourist attractions in Florida. There are walking trails you can enjoy, and many people take field trips or have their weddings on the gorgeous property.

Visit Disney World

If your family has small children, or really members of any age, you are more than likely a Disney fan. It is always a good idea to go see some of your favorite characters in real life and see where the magic happens.

This destination consists of four parks; Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. Meaning that there is sure to be something that each member of your group will love. The food is said to be wonderful and you can take all of the fun pictures wearing Mickey Mouse ears.

Go Tour Nasa

The Kennedy Space Center is one of the ten National Aeronautics and Space Administration locations. It is located on Merritt Island and is a very unique place to visit. When you go, you are able to meet an astronaut, see the actual Space Shuttle Atlantis, and stop by the rocket garden.

This center allows the guests to get a real up-close view of what it would look and feel like to be a human being in space. Not only is this trip fun but it is also educational. It is a great option for people of all ages.

Watch a Race

If you did not think Florida already had enough to offer, they are also home to a NASCAR racecourse located in Daytona Beach. The Daytona International Speedway is a racetrack that opened in 1959 and is home to the Daytona 500.

After you watch famous race car drivers compete, you can also take a tour and get a behind-the-scenes experience of how the races are held. If you are feeling lucky, you can even place a bet on your favorite driver and earn some extra money to enjoy the rest of your time in Florida with.
