Summerbridge, a leading UK manufacturer of doors and cabinets for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, is celebrating the long service of two of its employees – Sheridan Ashley Say and Christopher Padgett – who have both been with the company for over 25 years.

As a thank you for their continued loyalty and hard work, Say was gifted with aviation lessons, whilst Padgett was gifted Amazon vouchers.

Say, a product engineer, first joined the Hull-based company 25 years ago as a vacuum press operative, while Padgett, now a dispatch operative, joined Summerbridge 26 years ago as a hand router operative – with both progressing hugely in their roles throughout their time with the company.

Sheridan Ashley Say said of the award: “I was so surprised and overwhelmed when I won the award! I absolutely love my role at Summerbridge – the team are absolutely wonderful, and there’s such a relaxed atmosphere.

“We have a great product, and there’s a real opportunity for people to make their mark and contribute to driving the growth of the company, which is really rewarding.”

Christopher Padgett added: “It was great to receive a long service award in recognition of my time with Summerbridge – it’s wonderful to feel appreciated, and the award came as such as surprise! I felt really proud, as I take great pride in my job.

“Summerbridge is a great place to work, we have such a friendly team and I’ve made great friends here who I’ve known for a very long time.”

Marcin Wegerski, Operations Manager at Summerbridge, said: “We were delighted to award Sheridan and Christopher with their long service awards. They have played an integral role in the company over the last 25 years, and we wanted to give recognition of their hard work and contributions to the company. All that’s left to say is a big thank you again to them both!”
