Hydrochem has carried out various projects with Natural Retreats, a 55-acre site consisting of luxurious lodges on the outskirts of Richmond in North Yorkshire.

With the popular resort now expanding, Hydrochem has been called in to install a number of new water tanks across the site to meet the demand.

Linda Hannah, Hydrochem’s General Manager, said: “We have an excellent relationship with Natural Retreats having worked with them on various projects over the years.

“But with the site expanding because of its popularity, we have had to install some new tanks as there wasn’t enough running water getting across the site.

“A team of our engineers have been working for some time at Natural Retreats to rectify the problem in time for the summer season.

“It is lovely to see Natural Retreats doing so well, and it is good to be able to carry out this work to improve the flow of water across the site.

“With the summer season fast approaching it is a vital piece of work with a larger number of guests anticipated over the next few months.”

Hydrochem, which is based on Graythorp Industrial Estate in Hartlepool, was set up in 1987 and is now the longest serving water treatment company in the North East of England.

The firm has an impressive list of clients, including Bannatyne’s, Bourne Leisure and the Marriott Hotel chain, and has teams of specialists working at sites across the UK on a daily basis.

The firm, which recently expanded its team by taking on four new engineers, specialises in inspecting water systems, diagnosing problems and then supplying solutions across the boilers, heaters, air conditioning units, pipeworks and other water-based equipment as well as the likes of swimming pools and spas.

Hydrochem also uses the innovative Safe-Water facility, which has been devised to include risk assessment of Legionella and other bacterial issues.
