Insight-led research, marketing and PR agency, NGI Solutions has strengthened its board with the appointment of two experienced industry figures as Non-Executive Directors.
Amy Mooney and Tim Wilson both bring invaluable experience in running and growing leading creative agencies in the region. They will provide strategic advice to the agency’s senior management team as they look for further growth across all services.
Tim Wilson is Managing Director of creative design studio Atomhawk and has delivered ongoing expansion of the company’s headcount, revenue and international footprint. He has experience of agency-focused systems and processes, financial models and strategic planning. Prior to Atomhawk, Tim worked for over a decade in a full-service communications agency in Newcastle, planning creative campaigns for household names such as Virgin Money, Vodafone and World Rowing.
Tim said: “NGI Solutions has an innovative and unique proposition as an agency. I’m looking forward to working alongside their leadership team to help support their ongoing growth.”
Co-Owner of smart energy company, Gas Angel, Amy Mooney is an award-winning brand and marketing entrepreneur with 20 years’ experience in commercial brand building. With a focus on what audiences want to hear rather than what businesses want to say, she previously set up and grew a well-regarded brand and digital communications agency in the North East.
Amy said: “I’m thrilled to have a seat on the NGI Solutions board and look forward to bringing a boldly commercial viewpoint to the talented team. The marketing insight and creative work NGI Solutions delivers is impressive, as is the social and economical impact the agency has on our region.”
NGI Solutions celebrated its 5th anniversary this year and continues to grow its service offering and client base. The team’s expertise stretches across research, marketing and PR, and digital, with specialist sector knowledge in healthcare, tourism and events.
The agency works with clients such as Newcastle United Foundation, NECS, Leeds BID and Milburngate and has recently delivered a major brand and research project for NP11, the 11 Northern Local Enterprise Partnerships.
Kathie Wilcox, NGI Solutions Director, added: “Adding Amy and Tim to our board brings a wealth of experience in developing successful commercial agencies – expertise we can call on and learn from as we look to build the NGI Solutions business and brand over the coming years.
“Our team already has a strong range of skills and sector expertise which has enabled us to win some major projects recently, with many more in the pipeline. We’re looking forward to building on this success to date as we move forward with Amy and Tim on board.”
NGI Solutions is a profit-for-purpose organisation, with all profits from the Gateshead-based agency being reinvested back into the work of NewcastleGateshead Initiative to promote the North East and drive economic growth.
